Book Review: The Storm

 The Storm by Amanda Jennings ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This book doesn't start out amazing, but it does haul you in.  Hannah is controlled by her husband, Nathan.  This is how it has been for thirteen years now.  

Her best friend, Vicky, hates Nathan, doesn't understand why Hannah stays.  Although, she understands that Nathan controls Hannah.  

The past never stays dead though.  Hannah is getting really fed up with Nathan.  He and Alex, their son, are at each others throats constantly. 

If Hannah could break free, she would.

Then truths start to break free.  They all must start to understand that lies were told, people were told to leave the small community from before.  

 A man died.  He was thought to have been lost at sea.  Nathan holds this over Hannah until the time comes for the wrong in that to burst out.  

He didn't die at sea.  

He died on shore.

Cam was who she really loved.  He's back.  Now the truth will come out.
